Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Main Contractor

Assistant Quantity Surveyor - a growing building contractor is searching for a Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a company delivering award-winning projects ranging from £6m to £14m.

In this role you will work on projects from pre-construction stage through to handover working closely with the office and site teams - procuring and managing sub-contractors and agreeing final accounts.

Salary & Package:
- Great basic salary of £35,000 - £40,000

Key Duties:
- Assisting with take-offs to and produce schedules of works
- Assisting with procurement and managing sub-contractors
- Dealing with variations and valuations
- Supporting a Senior QS

Requirements:
- Experience working as a Trainee QS or Assistant QS
- Experience working with a building contractor
- Experience dealing with final accounts
- Industry related qualification

To qualify for the higher rate of pay you must be able to demonstrate a track record as a Assistant Quantity Surveyor delivering construction projects ranging from £3m+
