Planners in Nottingham have given the go-ahead for a seven storey, 125,000 sq ft office block in the Southside area of Nottingham.

Willmott Dixon is understood to be onboard for the Crocus Place project with consultant Perfect Circle delivering project management, cost management, and M&E consultancy.

As part of the redevelopment of the city’s Southside, Crocus Place will transform currently derelict land next to Nottingham train station into a prime office location with more than 1,000 desk spaces.

The scheme will use solar panels, air source heat pumps and electric car charging points to help minimise energy use.

Victoria Brambini, managing director of Perfect Circle, said: “Plans for Crocus Place were unveiled at MIPIM this year.

“Nottingham has a shortage of Grade A office space, so this development will really help address this demand, creating and retaining more jobs in the city.’

“We’re incredibly proud to be involved in this landmark development and look forward to seeing this aesthetically and environmentally inspiring office development take shape.”

Perfect Circle was brought on board via the Scape National Built Environment Consultancy Services framework.

Crocus Place is due to start on site later this year and is expected to open in the Summer of 2021.

Saxton Recruitment is an Approved Supplier to Willmott Dixon, we have recently recruited a Construction Manager to lead one of their major projects.
