200 student flats plan for Northampton Debenhams

Plans have been submitted to build over 200 student flats at the site of a large three-storey Debenhams building in Northampton.
Midlands student property specialist Zone plans to demolish the 1950s building on the Drapery main shopping street to make way for the new student scheme.
Architect 56three with structural engineer PRP has designed the six-storey scheme which will contain entertainment rooms, a lounge, gym and study spaces organised around a central south facing courtyard space.
Rooftop terraces will offer views across the town.
